Our Team Is Growing! Sopan Joins Climalogik as a Senior Climate and Data Scientist
Climalogik Inc. is excited to announce that our team continues to grow as Sopan Kurkute has joined us as a Senior Climate and Data Scientist.
Sopan comes to our company with 12 years of experience in the physical climate science, vulnerabilities, impacts, and adaptation sector. He is excellent at numerical modelling of high-impact site-specific hydro-meteorological processes; high-resolution regional climate downscaling; and data analysis using advanced machine learning techniques for engineering and environmental applications.
Sopan will work closely with our clients and contribute to the production, interpretation, and delivery of ready-to-use climate projection data. He will also help clients in setting up, conducting, processing, and interpreting weather forecasts and climate simulations run on High Performance Computing facilities, as well as communicating climate projections and the potential impacts of climate change to stakeholders.
